I once saw screenwriter Paul Schrader speak at the Academy. He described how if two people bring him scripts and one says he cranked it out in two weeks and the other says he’s labored over it for years, Schrader is much more apt to read the one that was written in two weeks.
My stories are written in one sitting, one per day. No stiff taxidermy or lacquered fish mounted on a wall in a dusty basement. I want a living, writhing thing that tries to squirm out of my hands…
I absolutely love your stories!
Thanks Kim!
I liked your blog so much! One question: what about inspiration? How did you manage to write every single day in some months? 🙂
Thanks Gustavo! I literally start typing with no idea what I’m about to write. It flows out on its own accord, like a dream…
I’ve just come across with your blog. I am quite sure that I will be an enthusiastic new follower waiting for upcoming stories. Hope your productivity never ends and shines endlessly!
Hi Elif, That’s awesome you are enjoying the stories -thank you! Plus you have a really cool name!
Hi there, your stories are amazing. I think I envy you. Hope to be like you. I’m not really fluent in speaking english but I hope I can write many stories like you soon.
Thanks so much Chariz! Sounds like you enjoy writing as much as I do…
